Coco avant Chanel

Right now, I’m lying sick in bed 😦 it is so hard not being able to do anything but at least I have time to watch movies πŸ™‚

I decided to watch Coco avant Chanel and I wasn’t disappointed. I loved it! It’s definitely worth watching because it is a beautiful movie and youΒ learn so much about The woman, Coco Chanel.

I like how Audrey looks so elegant no matter what she wears and even if she looks like a boy πŸ˜‰

Fashiolista inspiration

I don’t know why, but I have a thing for these sweaters. They are easy-going and it’s not hard to make gorgeous combinations with them and also they show a little bit of my old style.

I found some on Fashiolista and I would be very happy to share my latest loves-widget with you, but WordPress doesn’t allow iframe 😦

You can find my Fashiolista account here.

Sorry for the lack of posts, I had 3 exams last week and was super busy πŸ™‚Β But I’m back! I will have (a lot)Β more time over the next two weeks so I will try to make the most of it πŸ™‚Β I decided to learn how to sew, found some interesting DIY tutorials on Youtube and I hope I won’t sew my finger somewhere!

And back to the post. I got this lovely gold chain necklace from Romwe last week, I like it so much! I have a smaller version in silver already and it’s so nice, it can go with almost every outfit πŸ™‚ you can find it here.

I wanted a chunky knitted scarf for so long and I didn’t seem to find it anywhere. But now, I found it in Zara! And of course, I bought it right away πŸ™‚

It’s super soft and the color is black because I like to have everything black so I can wear it all the time with every color possible πŸ™‚ This apply also for my shoes πŸ™‚ I know this is the laziest color, but when I like something, I want to wear it all the time so this is a shortcut for better combinations with less effort πŸ˜‰

But I still have at least one piece of wardrobe on my wishlist that I don’t know where to find (at least a cheaper version, preferably under 30€). And it is a chunky knit like this:

If you know, where I can find this, please, tell me, you will make my day πŸ™‚

DIY: hanging earrings display

I have 8 beautiful hanging earrings that I didn’t wear, because they were hidden in a box and I always forgot about them. But now, I made this gorgeous (very easy) display and I count on never forgetting about them again πŸ™‚

So, what I used:

gold wire (shouldn’t be too thin so it can carry the weight of earrings)

a frame (I used black frame from Ikea I found at home)

and some glue (to glue the wire onto the frame)

I wrapped two pieces of wire together, so it is more strong and glued it onto the frame at each size. I also put some duct tape over so it didn’t move πŸ™‚

For now, I have it sitting on my piano but I plan on hanging it near my “make-up station”. And the frame is pretty plain, so I was thinking I could glue some wooden decorations, like hearts, on it.

And here is my collection:

First post

I decided to make this blog after watching a video (this video) to find out my style.

So, here I am, trying to change my style to fit my personality and making style-diary πŸ™‚Β I will also write about other stuff like make up reviews and ideas, etc.
